Shady Hollow
The Shady Hollow neighborhood is family-friendly and located 10 miles South of downtown Austin, south of Slaughter Lane, spanning near the Hays county line near the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Established in 1978, it was among first planned communities in the area.
Clarksville
Founded in 1871, Clarksville is the oldest surviving freedomtown ‒ the original post-Civil War founded by former African-American slaves ‒ west of the Mississippi River.
Castlewood Forest
Located on the west side of Manchaca Rd. between Slaughter and Davis Lane – The primary neighborhood entrances are from Davis Ln. at Collingwood Dr., and from Manchaca Rd. at Crownspoint Dr. or Monarch Dr. Known for spacious yards with homes built mostly between 1968 –1985, this is the place where you may end up with with that swimming pool you’ve always wanted for a fraction of the price in other hot Austin neighborhoods.
Travis Heights
The Travis Heights neighborhood that truly has the best of both worlds. Spanning from I-35 on the east to Congress Avenue on the west, the northern border is Lady Bird Lake (or Riverside Drive) and the southern border is Oltorf Street – this is a place where residents can grab an afternoon run along the creekside trail before walking to South Congress Avenue for fajitas & margaritas with friends.
Cherrywood
Cherrywood in Austin Texas is known by several names, including Upper Boggy Creek, Dellwood II, and French Place. Bordered by Wilshire Boulevard to the north, Manor Road to the south, Interstate 35 to the west and Airport Boulevard to the east.
Sunset Valley
Sunset Valley is a “small town” oasis (one square mile) roughly 10 miles Southwest of downtown Austin. This small community, established in 1954, sits just East of Loop 1 (Mopac) and South of Highway 71.
East Riverside
Directly southeast of downtown Austin, the East Riverside neighborhood is home to creative types and young professionals. Just East of I-35 on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake, this lively area is known for an inclusive mix of neighborhood amenities.
