Marye’s Gourmet Pizza
Look, I’ve been around the block a few times. I humbly admit I know my pizza. So, when a business advertises “gourmet” pizza, I’m immediately suspicious. Too often people throw the word “gourmet” on subpar ‘za! But rest assured, Marye’s is not one of these establishments. When I first walked into this little pizzeria with the intention of eating in, I was immediately STRUCK with the amazing aroma of freshly made dough in the oven. As I sat and waited for my pie (I ordered the margarita pizza), I was taken in by their Chicago-style décor. And when I took my first bite, I was overwhelmed with the rich flavor. Fresh ingredients, solid salads, and a good selection means this is one place you need to check out – trust me on this one.
