Ginny’s Little Longhorn Saloon
In an “entertainment rich” city like Austin, it can be difficult to evoke a feeling of otherness and discovery. Especially when it comes to honky-tonks that consistently bring in good acts that play great music and offer cold beer for thirsty crowds. Austin is peppered with such places because that’s how we are. However, Ginny’s has that “x” factor. It’s the last of a dying breed of 80’s Americana dive bars that boasts a selection of draft beer that will make your head spin. Besides that, they have a famous bingo game every Sunday. Chicken S*** Bingo to put it bluntly. For the discerning Austinite.
